Get to know more about what makes us different.

Capital Community Church has been serving the communities of Ashburn, VA, for the 25 years. Our lead pastor Chester Mitchell and his wife Marion came from California to found this church inspired by their call to minister to the people of the Washington DC metro area.

We are a multiracial and multilingual congregation. In our community the hurting find hope, the lonely find family, the broken are restored, and the fallen are loved and find forgiveness.

When you first arrive at CCC, you will be welcomed by greeters who will assist you into our worship space where every seat is a good seat. Think of these greeters as your own personal concierge and ask them any questions you want.

At CCC, we have something for everyone. We have programs for toddlers, elementary, junior high and high school students.
Our praise music is contemporary, vibrant and expressive just as our services are.

We welcome you just as your are  to our caring and  growing family!

Our
Pastor

Pastor Mitchell’s vision to share the gospel message of hope in the Washington DC area brought him from Northern California to Reston, Virginia, in 1996, to plant Capital Community Church. God has grown this church into a thriving congregation, now located in Ashburn, Virginia.

Our ministry is primarily in northern Virginia, but it also serves as a catalyst to launch and develop pastors and leaders both in the United States and around the world. The author of two books, The Gravel Road to Heaven and The Healing Road to Heaven, Pastor Mitchell is an excellent and articulate communicator.

He and his wife Marion have been married for 36 years. They love remembering the first time they met while both were doing ministry in their native country of Jamaica.
